The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift

Went to see the Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift today. Didn't really have any expectations of it, after all, it's a movie glorifying racing.... Hmm... couldn't say it's all bad. Some stuff didn't really make sense and it was too "Americanize". They had to put in some American kid with some Western muscle car in Tokyo.

Good things about the movie:

• It's set in Japan!
• Cars are pretty nice
• The drifting stunts are very good

Bad things about the movie:

• main character (hero) looks like he's over 30 portraiting a high school student (he's supposed to be only 23 years old though)
• the cast is not good looking at all.. guys and girls alike, except Satoshi Tsumabuki (妻夫木聰), but he was in only one scene. I know this sounds shallow, but hey, i'm not there for the cars.. gotta have something else to look at
• lame storyline. I'm sure most people don't care, since they are there for the drifting stunts and cars
• camera angles, they spin around and changes shot very quickly, makes you all dizzy

It would be better to treat this movie as a comedy than an action movie.
